Campers must have played on school or AAU team. This is for advanced players.  Camp will be directed by College Coach Matt Bringman- Polk Community College.

About the Coach: Matt Bringman is in his first year as an assistant coach at Polk State. He joins the Eagles after serving two seasons as associate head coach at St. Catharine College in Kentucky.  

He has also been a graduate assistant coach at the University of Pikeville (Kentucky), where he earned a master’s degree in sports management.

In addition he served as assistant coach at Webber International University (Babson Park, Fla.), assistant director of operations at the Mike Gillespie Basketball Academy (Jacksonville), associate head coach at Nease High School (St. Johns, Fla.) and assistant coach at Wolfson High School (Jacksonville).

Bringman is also a skills instructor in Florida. He has trained Patric Young of the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans and numerous pros, including Jamon Gordon (Turkey), Derwin Kitchen (Israel), and Jamar Briscoe (Australia).  

He earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education with a minor in exercise science from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
